JOB SUMMARY:
The Driver is responsible for supplying transportation services to students and performing general maintenance duties throughout the year.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrates and abides by the Company Core Values and the operating principles.
Transport students by bus and automobile to various vocational sites, medical centers, recreational activities, courts, etc.
Transports equipment and/or commodities to the center.
Inspects and reports on the mechanical condition of vehicles.
Maintains accurate and complete trip reports of each use of any vehicle.
Attends required staff training sessions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum - Some high school. Ability to fluently read and write English. Model company Core Values
Preferred - Six months work related experience preferred.
General Requirements - Must possess valid State driver’s. Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certificate. Ability to operate power tools. Must have a valid Driver License. Must obtain and possess a valid CDL, Class B w/passenger endorsement license within 6 months from date of hire.

Long Description:
The eLearning Group supports, designs, develops, deploys, and maintains eLearning course programs. The eLearning group's onsite core team of approximately 10 members works on an ongoing basis with teams from offsite/offshore external vendors as needed to support development, translation, and other processes. The interactive eLearning courses are built primarily using HTML and Flash and incorporate a variety of media including photographs, illustrations, animations, etc. with audio narration as well as interactive learning exercises. Courses are deployed online via the company's Learning Management System (LMS) and are also offered on CD and as downloadable versions. Many courses have a global audience and are translated/localized into 17 languages for use in more than 20 countries. The group's current catalog of courses includes more than 150 discrete main topics, many with multiple sub-courses/variations (including foreign language versions, country-/business-/site-specific additional content versions, etc.) for a total of approximately 1000 programs.
POSITION DUTIES:
As a Development Lead, the primary responsibility is leading the development of the assigned eLearning courses. For any given course, major responsibilities include:
· Project management of the courses development, including project planning, coordination, tracking, scheduling, etc. to ensure that the course is high quality and delivered on budget and under deadline.
· Interacting with customer(s) to understand learning objectives, develop and manage the course completion schedule, coordinate reviews, and generally achieve high customer satisfaction
· Coordinating with and assisting the teams course scripter/writer(s) for the course as s/he gathers content and works with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to write an instructionally sound and engaging script for the course
· Collaborating with the course scripter(s) to design interactive learning exercises based on the course objectives
· Coordinating and collaborating with offshore junior developer(s) to develop the course, including reviewing their design and development work as well as personally designing and developing media, course pages, etc. as needed
· Working with multiple members of onsite team to coordinate and ensure QA testing, loading to LMS, and other process steps for the course
· Coordinate translations of course content in various languages utilizing various vendors

JOB SUMMARY: Train and evaluate drivers in the operation of the Podzilla Lift System, forklift operations, and POD Pilot operations (scanners, camera function, communication and GPS). Thoroughly train and prepare drivers to conduct deliveries of PODs Brand containers. Provide ongoing training for the POD OPS and franchise divisions; provide training and feedback to location drivers and managers. Assess training needs of franchise locations and develop plan to execute identified training. Conduct Delivery Assessments on all PODS drivers. During “busy season" (Memorial Day through Labor Day), must be available to assist corporate locations in delivering containers as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Driving and operation of a truck with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload PODS containers
Must be able to learn and teach the PODS Retail Business Management System
Complete and follow exact and structured guidelines for conducting Delivery Assessments
Provide verbal and written report of the Delivery Assessment to the driver and location manager
Provide hands-on training to drivers and instruct them on operating the PodZilla Lift System
Provide hands-on training to drivers and conduct proper forklift operation leading to certification
Provide training to drivers in the operation of the POD Pilot; including scanners, camera function, communications and GPS
Provide information, ongoing training and education to drivers to enhance their performance
React and provide appropriate answers to driver's questions
Conduct training for new drivers in the PODS delivery process
Must having good working knowledge of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, including Hours of Service, and the vehicle inspection process
Analyze and discuss with the Corporate Training Manager any overall concerns or obstacles to assessment process for a location and provide trip reports for each location visit
DURING BUSY SEASON - Conduct container deliveries, when needed, while maintaining a daily ETA rating of at least 85%, with 100% ETA the desired goal
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Must have a strong work ethic and dedication to task at hand
Must be willing and available to work on weekends as the business need requires
Regular attendance and punctuality required
SUPERVISION RECEIVED/EXERCISED: Perform duties under general direction of the Corporate Operations Training Manager. Conduct Delivery Assessments in an objective manner. Must learn scope of decision making authority.
SCOPE OF DECISIONS: Each Driver Trainer will be assigned a region with up to 45 PODS locations in the United States for training and delivery assessments. Will also be assigned specific areas to research regulations in a particular region. The training needs of each location must be assessed and a plan to address those needs developed and implemented in a timely manner. Ability to make sound decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions. Must be a good steward of travel budget and travel on days that are cost effective to our tasks. Must possess the discipline and ability to work on assigned projects with minimal supervision.
